Tendai ‘The Beast’ Mtawarira is one of the most feared loosehead props in South African rugby history, earning 117 Test caps between 2008 and 2019. Born in Zimbabwe, he became a South African citizen and anchored the Springbok scrum for over a decade. He retired after the 2019 Rugby World Cup, which he won as part of Siya Kolisi’s squad in Japan.
