Who is Morne Steyn

Morne Steyn is a South African flyhalf born in 1984 in Pretoria, best remembered for the last-gasp penalty that clinched South Africa’s 2009 Test series victory over the British and Irish Lions. After retiring from international rugby in 2014, he made a remarkable comeback in 2021 and continued playing at the highest level well into his late 30s. Steyn earned more than 65 Springbok caps across two separate international careers.
