Frans Steyn, born 14 March 1987, is a South African utility back who achieved the rare feat of winning two Rugby World Cups 16 years apart — as a 20-year-old in 2007 and as a veteran in 2023 — earning approximately 58 Test caps across his career. Known for one of the biggest boots in rugby history, he could kick penalties from beyond 70 metres with either foot. He played club rugby across South Africa and France in a career spanning nearly two decades.
