Rassie Erasmus is South Africa’s Director of Rugby and the mastermind behind the Springboks’ back-to-back Rugby World Cup victories in 2019 and 2023, making South Africa the most successful nation in World Cup history with four titles. He took charge as head coach in 2018 and transformed Springbok rugby through a suffocating defensive system and dominant set-piece. Before coaching, Erasmus was himself a Springbok flanker who earned 36 Test caps.
