André Joubert was South Africa’s first-choice fullback throughout the 1990s, nicknamed ‘The Rolls Royce of Fullbacks’ for his elegance, composure, and danger with ball in hand. He earned 34 Test caps between 1989 and 1997 and was a key figure in South Africa’s 1995 Rugby World Cup triumph on home soil. Joubert remains one of the finest attacking fullbacks in Springbok history.
