Lukhanyo Am is a South African centre born in 1995 in East London who has earned approximately 45 Test caps since his debut in 2017, widely regarded as one of the best defensive backs in world rugby for his predatory interceptions and explosive attacking instincts. He was a key member of both the 2019 and 2023 Rugby World Cup-winning Springbok squads.
