Handre Pollard, born 13 February 1994, is South Africa’s first-choice flyhalf and one of the most reliable kickers in world rugby, earning approximately 79 Test caps through end of 2024. He won two Rugby World Cups with the Springboks — in 2019 and 2023 — and was the match-winner in the 2023 final against New Zealand, kicking all four of South Africa’s penalties in the 12-11 victory. He is known for his composure under the most extreme pressure.
