Handre Pollard is South Africa’s first-choice flyhalf and one of the most reliable kickers in world rugby. Born in 1994, he won two Rugby World Cups with the Springboks — in 2019 and 2023 — and was the match-winner in the 2023 final against New Zealand, kicking all four of South Africa’s penalties. He is known for his composure under the most extreme pressure.
