South Africa beat England 15–6 in the 2007 Rugby World Cup Final at the Stade de France in Paris on 20 October 2007. Percy Montgomery kicked four penalties for 12 points and François Steyn added a remarkable long-range penalty for South Africa’s 15. England’s 6 points came from two Jonny Wilkinson penalties in a tense, try-less final.
