Morne Steyn is a South African flyhalf who played 77 Tests across two Springbok stints from 2009 to 2021, accumulating approximately 714 Test points (figure approximate) to rank second on South Africa’s all-time scoring list behind Percy Montgomery’s 893. He is best remembered for a series-clinching drop goal struck from 53 metres in the dying seconds of the 2009 British & Irish Lions decider at Loftus Versfeld — one of the most dramatic kicks in rugby history.
