Kwagga Smith is a South African flanker and number 8 known for his explosive speed and relentless work rate, earning approximately 50 Test caps for the Springboks (figure approximate to end of 2024). He plays for the Lions and was part of both the 2019 and 2023 Rugby World Cup-winning squads, typically deployed as a dynamic impact player off the bench. Smith also represented South Africa in sevens rugby.
