Bryan Habana, born 12 June 1983 in Springs, Gauteng, is South Africa’s all-time leading try scorer with 67 tries in 124 Tests and was named World Rugby Player of the Year in 2007. That year he scored a record-equalling 8 tries in a single Rugby World Cup — matching Jonah Lomu’s landmark — as the Springboks lifted the trophy in Paris. His searing pace and clinical finishing made him one of the most feared wingers the game has ever seen.
