Tendai ‘The Beast’ Mtawarira is a loosehead prop who earned 117 caps for South Africa between 2008 and 2019, making him one of the most capped props in Springbok history. Born in Zimbabwe, he was renowned as one of the most dominant scrummagers in world rugby. He retired after the 2019 Rugby World Cup, leaving with a winner’s medal after South Africa defeated England in the final.
