Who is Rassie Erasmus

Rassie Erasmus is the architect of South Africa’s back-to-back Rugby World Cup victories in 2019 and 2023, serving first as Director of Rugby before becoming head coach of the Springboks. A former Springbok flanker who earned 36 caps between 1997 and 2001, he revolutionised the Springbok game plan with his tactical Bomb Squad substitution strategy and an unbreakable team culture. He is widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in the history of South African rugby.
