Makazole Mapimpi is a South African wing born on 20 February 1990 in Ngqeleni, Eastern Cape, who made history in 2019 as the first Springbok ever to score a try in a Rugby World Cup final. He crossed against England in Yokohama as South Africa won 32-12, capping one of the most remarkable careers in South African rugby. Known for his explosive pace and clinical finishing, he is one of the most lethal wings the Springboks have produced.
