Lukhanyo Am is a South African centre born in East London in 1995, widely regarded as one of the finest defensive centres in world rugby. He plays for the Sharks and is a two-time Rugby World Cup winner (2019 and 2023). Am famously scored a hat-trick against the British and Irish Lions in the second Test in 2021.
