Danie Craven holds the record for most tries in Springbok history with 13 tries in 16 appearances between 1935-1938. In the modern era, Bryan Habana scored 15 tries in 124 Tests, making him the most prolific try scorer for South Africa. Other notable try scorers include JP Pieterse with 29 tries and Cheslin Kolbe with 21 tries in recent years.
