Faf de Klerk, born 18 March 1994 in Pretoria, is a box-kicking, line-breaking Springbok scrum-half instantly recognisable by his bleached mohawk. He made his Test debut in 2016 and was a driving force behind South Africa’s 2019 Rugby World Cup triumph, combining explosive pace with tenacious defence across the tournament. He plays club rugby for Sale Sharks in the English Premiership.
