Naas Botha is widely regarded as South Africa’s greatest flyhalf of the amateur era, earning 28 Test caps between 1980 and 1992 and scoring 312 Test points. Despite losing the prime years of his career to apartheid-era bans, he remains one of the most celebrated players in South African rugby history.
