Rassie Erasmus is South Africa’s most successful modern coach, serving as head coach in 2018-2019 and again from 2024-present. He led the Springboks to victory in the 2019 Rugby World Cup, defeating England 32-12 in the final. Erasmus was named World Rugby Coach of the Year in 2019 and has won multiple Rugby Championships in his current tenure.
