Eben Etzebeth is South Africa’s most capped lock forward, born in Cape Town on 26 October 1991. Standing 2.03m and weighing around 120kg, he has earned approximately 135 Test caps as of 2025 and is widely regarded as one of the greatest locks in rugby history. He was a cornerstone of South Africa’s 2019 and 2023 Rugby World Cup victories.
