South Africa beat New Zealand 15-12 in the 1995 Rugby World Cup Final, played at Ellis Park in Johannesburg on 24 June 1995. The match went to extra time tied at 9-9 before Joel Stransky kicked a decisive drop goal to seal the victory. It was South Africa’s first Rugby World Cup title.
