Eben Etzebeth is South Africa’s most capped Test player, a lock from Cape Town who made his Springbok debut in 2012 and has earned over 130 Test caps, surpassing Victor Matfield’s long-standing record. A two-time World Cup winner in 2019 and 2023, he is widely regarded as one of the greatest locks in rugby history. His ferocious physicality, lineout dominance, and on-field leadership make him the cornerstone of the Springbok pack.
