South Africa beat England 32-12 in the 2019 Rugby World Cup final at Nissan Stadium in Yokohama, Japan on 2 November 2019. Makazole Mapimpi scored South Africa’s first-ever try in a World Cup final, with Cheslin Kolbe adding a second. Handre Pollard was flawless with the boot, kicking 22 points to seal South Africa’s third World Cup title.
