Morne Steyn is a Springbok flyhalf who secured two of the most important kicks in South African rugby history — the match-winning penalty in the final minute of the third Lions Test in 2009, and an almost identical winning penalty against the Lions in the deciding Test of 2021. He earned 75 Test caps between 2009 and 2022, accumulating 714 Test points to rank among South Africa’s greatest ever point-scorers. He played most of his career at the Bulls in Pretoria.
