Bismarck du Plessis is one of the greatest hookers South Africa has ever produced, a ferocious ball-carrier who earned over 70 Springbok caps between 2007 and 2016. Known for his aggression, explosive carries into contact, and the ability to also operate in the back row, he was part of South Africa’s 2007 Rugby World Cup-winning squad and became a legend at the Sharks franchise. He is widely regarded as one of the most physically dominant hookers in rugby history.
