Bakkies Botha is a South African lock forward who earned over 80 Test caps between 2002 and 2015, known for his raw physicality and dominance at the set piece. He formed one of rugby’s most feared lock partnerships alongside Victor Matfield, anchoring Springbok forward dominance during a golden era. He was a World Cup winner with South Africa in 2007.
