South Africa has never competed in the Six Nations Championship, which is exclusively for European nations (England, France, Ireland, Scotland, Italy, and Wales). The Springboks instead compete in the Rugby Championship against Argentina, Australia, and New Zealand. South Africa has occasionally played test matches against Six Nations teams but has no official Six Nations history.
