South Africa beat New Zealand 12–11 in the 2023 Rugby World Cup final, played at the Stade de France in Paris on 28 October 2023. It was the narrowest winning margin in World Cup Final history. Handre Pollard kicked all 12 of South Africa’s points with four penalties as the Springboks became the first team to win four Rugby World Cups.
