Makazole Mapimpi is a South African winger born on 10 March 1990 in Ngqeleni, Eastern Cape, who made history as the first Springbok ever to score a try in a Rugby World Cup final when he crossed against England in Yokohama in 2019. He plays for the Sharks and is known for his powerful running and clinical finishing. Mapimpi was part of the Springbok squads that won the 2019 and 2023 Rugby World Cups.
