Frans Malherbe is a South African tighthead prop born 14 March 1991 with 76 Test caps for the Springboks. Known for his technical scrummaging prowess, Malherbe was the first-choice prop in the 2019 Rugby World Cup Final and won the 2019 World Cup and 2021 Lions series. Despite missing 17 Tests due to neck and back injuries, he was recalled to the 2025 Springbok squad.
