Jean de Villiers is one of South Africa’s greatest centres, earning 109 caps between 2002 and 2015 and captaining the Springboks from 2012 to 2015. A powerful ball-carrier and natural leader, he led South Africa to the 2014 Rugby Championship title and guided the team through the British and Irish Lions series in 2013. He retired as the most capped centre in Springbok history.
