The Springboks play home Test matches primarily at Ellis Park Stadium in Johannesburg and Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria, with occasional matches in Cape Town and other South African cities. Ellis Park, known as ‘The Jewel of African Rugby’, hosted the legendary 1995 Rugby World Cup Final where South Africa defeated New Zealand 15-12. Both stadiums are fortress venues with passionate fan support.
