When was the first Springbok rugby test

The first Springbok rugby Test was played on July 30, 1891, against a British touring team at the Polo Grounds in Port Elizabeth. South Africa won that historic match 4-0, marking the genesis of South African international rugby and the birth of the Springbok legend.
