Damian de Allende is a South African centre born on 21 July 1993 who has earned approximately 82 Springbok caps through end of 2024, making him one of the most experienced midfield backs in Springbok history. He played key roles in both the 2019 and 2023 Rugby World Cup wins, valued for his powerful ball-carrying and defensive solidity at the gain line. He plays his club rugby in Japan and is regarded as one of the most complete centres in the modern game.
