Jean de Villiers is a South African centre who earned 109 Springbok caps between 2002 and 2015, captaining the side 37 times. A Rugby World Cup winner in 2007, he is considered one of the most complete and durable centres in Springbok history. De Villiers led the team through a period of transition and played on through multiple serious injuries, cementing his legacy as one of South Africa’s most respected captains.
