Pieter-Steph du Toit is a South African flanker born on 3 November 1994 in George who was named World Rugby Player of the Year in 2019 after a dominant individual World Cup campaign. He was a key figure in both the 2019 and 2023 Rugby World Cup-winning Springbok squads, making him one of the few players to win back-to-back World Cups. Du Toit’s combination of physicality, work-rate and skill has made him one of the most complete loose forwards in world rugby.
