Siya Kolisi is a South African flanker born on 16 June 1991 in Zwide, Port Elizabeth, who became the first Black African captain of the Springboks in 2018. He led South Africa to Rugby World Cup victories in both 2019 and 2023, making him the only captain in history to win back-to-back World Cups. Kolisi plays for Racing 92 in France and is widely regarded as one of the most significant figures in South African sporting history.
