Who is Frik du Preez

Frik du Preez is widely regarded as the greatest Springbok of the 20th century — a lock and loose forward of extraordinary athleticism who earned 38 caps between 1960 and 1971. Despite standing over 100kg, he could outrun wingers and outjump any lineout rival, and he remains the benchmark against which South African forwards across every generation are measured. He was voted the greatest Springbok of all time in multiple historical polls.
