Morne Steyn is a South African flyhalf who became a Springbok legend through two iconic kicking moments a decade apart: he landed the series-winning penalty against the British and Irish Lions in the third Test in 2009, and then came off the bench to do exactly the same thing against the Lions in 2021 — the same kick, the same stage, twelve years later. He earned 75 Test caps between 2009 and 2022, accumulating 714 Test points to rank among South Africa’s greatest ever points-scorers.
