Faf de Klerk is South Africa’s combative scrumhalf who played a central role in the Springboks’ 2019 Rugby World Cup triumph in Japan, earning a place in World Rugby’s Team of the Year. Known for his blond hair, ferocious defence, and precise box kicks, he earned over 65 Test caps and became one of the most recognisable players in world rugby during his time at Sale Sharks. He was part of both World Cup-winning squads in 2019 and 2023.
