Handre Pollard is South Africa’s first-choice flyhalf, born on 25 February 1994 in Paarl, who kicked four penalties to win the 2023 Rugby World Cup final 12-11 against New Zealand. A composed decision-maker and one of the most reliable goal-kickers in the world, he has been central to the Springbok game plan under Rassie Erasmus and has earned over 80 Test caps. He plays his club rugby for Leicester Tigers in England.
