South Africa has won the Rugby World Cup three times: in 1995, 2007, and 2019. The 1995 victory under Nelson Mandela's presidency was particularly significant as it unified the nation post-apartheid. Their most recent win in 2019 was achieved under coach Rassie Erasmus.
